Hello,

I see that you are probably contemplating taking 95 KTM 620 LC4 to S. America?? I am in the same boat!! Saw one for $500 and am thinking of buying it this Friday and tear it apart then rebuild it back together designed to accommodate my needs.

I may have to do some fabricating to the headlight area because I want to convert to HID headlight and add windshield to it, make a larger fuel tank, and may have to do some fabricating to the subframe supporting the pannier/luggage rack.

Send me email and let's discuss this project?? I think as a owner you can see my email which will be hidden to public? Or PM me at advrider forum using my name I added "wkheathjr" Thanks!!

Nice write Hoag

I was a motorcycle courier in San Francisco in the 90's.
I've told some crazy tales in other motorcycle threads, and I would have to say you are spot on in all of your dicey tales. I worked for Speed Racer at GO! for a few months, Quicksilver and Lightning Express as well. I still love it even though I'm doing something different these days.

It will always be a great adventure that only a few will ever understand and even fewer will actually believe the truth when we tell them of an average day.

Thanks again for the great write up.
